This paper describes a complete design of a digital controller using the tools of the Matlab programme, for a boost PFC converter working in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM). The converter works at a 100khz switching frequency and the AC line input voltage is about 230Vrms. We have used two methods for the controller design: /digital redesign/ and /direct digital design/. The simulation resulted from the design are also described.
