QuestionMy proposal of a new or improved algorithm or protocol was rejected
Solution If you propose a paper including one of the followings, but not limited to:

- an improvement to a well-known protocol, or a new version of an existing protocol;
- a new topology or an improvement of a well-known converter or other electronic or electrical device or system;
- a new configuration of an improvement of a computer system, device, algorithm, theory, application, server, etc.

you have to know we will accept your paper for evaluation only if all of the following requirements are satisfied - checked in the pre-screening phase:

1. A comparison with the existing know-how in the field is done (also the references section must demonstrate you really did this);
2. Your proposal is validated by simulation and by real experiments;
3. Advantages and disadvantages of your proposal are presented in detail, with discussions and conclusions.

All the paper results and the scientific merit must be explained in the abstract, including the findings, advantages and disadvantages of the proposal.

A special attention must be paid to algorithms, protocols, server configurations. For example, if you propose and improvement to an existing protocol - let's say the NTP protocol, you have to demonstrate the novelty and also that your solution is better by testing the proposal in real-life conditions. Simulations and laboratory experiments are not enough - it's a must to field-test your idea.

Insufficiently explained or validated papers will not be accepted for the blind evaluation phase.
