We use a general formalism previously developed for the 2D classical Heisenberg square lattice. We recall the closed-form expressions derived for the thermodynamic quanti-ties of main interest, notably the correlation length and the dynamic and static susceptibilities. The theoretical model allows one to fit correctly the experimental correlation length of the well-known compound Rb2MnF4 and the experimental susceptibility data of the recently synthetized antiferromagnet Mn(minc)2(N3)2n characterized by a 2D classical square lattice (where /minc/ is the abbreviation for the ligand methyl isonicotinate).
